Accessibility
SGS Tools and Parts is designed to be usable with common assistive technologies and keyboard navigation. We aim to keep the storefront, product pages, checkout flow, and footer information clear, readable, and practical for a wide range of customers and devices.
Our accessibility approach
We try to use semantic page structure, clear headings, labelled form fields, and readable contrast so the site can be understood more easily by screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Our goal is to make it straightforward to browse products, review product details, select options, add items to cart, and complete checkout without unnecessary complexity.
What we support
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and buttons.
- Labels on forms and input controls.
- Alternative text on product images where applicable.
- Responsive layouts for desktop and mobile use.
- Readable page structure for product pages and legal pages.
- Cart and checkout flows that can be completed without a mouse.
Images, video, and media
Product images include descriptive alt text or safe fallbacks where possible. Product pages may also include zoomable images, thumbnails, and video content.
Where a video is present, we aim to present it in a clear, usable format. If a particular media item is difficult for you to access, let us know and we will review the issue.
Forms and checkout
We aim to keep checkout and admin-facing customer forms clear and predictable, with visible labels and standard controls. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
If a form field, button, or checkout step is unclear or not working well with your device or assistive technology, contact us and we will help where we can.
Known limitations
Some content is generated from product data entered by staff, and some pages contain image-heavy layouts, which may not suit every browsing setup perfectly. We continue to improve the site over time and try to keep important information easy to reach.
We may not yet provide a fully dedicated accessibility mode or every specialist accommodation by default, but we will respond to direct requests wherever practical.
If you find a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on the site, contact us with the page name, what happened, and the device or browser you were using. That helps us reproduce the issue and make a practical fix.
