Shipping Policy

This page explains how orders are dispatched and delivered from SGS Tools and Parts, including timeframes, tracking, split shipments, and delivery notes for standard, express, bulky, and international orders.

Order processing

Orders are normally dispatched within 3 business days. Made to order items produced in our workshop may take up to 5 working days before dispatch.

During sales periods, public holidays, or busy production periods, dispatch may take longer. Where possible, we will note any known delay on the product page or in order communications.

Delivery methods

Standard products are delivered through Australia Post where available. If Australia Post does not service your address for home delivery, your parcel may be directed to the nearest collection point.

Express orders are delivered weekdays within 1-4 business days, depending on the delivery location.

Bulky products are shipped by courier and require a street address. Bulky items cannot be delivered to PO boxes, parcel lockers, roadside mailboxes, or Australia Post outlets.

Split deliveries

Some orders may be supplied from different SGS locations or through different courier services. If this happens, your order may arrive in more than one delivery.

If multiple consignments are required, the shipping amount paid at checkout will not be exceeded.

Tracking and authority to leave

Once your order has shipped, a tracking link will be sent to the email address used at checkout.

Some parcels may be left under authority to leave if the carrier considers the location safe. If the carrier decides the parcel is not safe to leave, a card may be left with collection instructions.

International delivery

We can deliver to selected international destinations. Some countries or regions may be excluded and may not appear in the checkout shipping options.

International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing. Import duties, taxes, or local fees are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.

Incorrect address or missing parcels

Please check all shipping details carefully at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, extra postage may be required before reshipment.

If an item has not arrived within the expected timeframe, or if a parcel appears damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
